“The Only Thing We Have To Fear is Fear Itself”… Ah, No We Don’t!

In his dynamic 1933 post-election speech to the nation, presented at a time when our domestically-weakened nation was pulling itself out of the lengthy, economy-damaging Great Depression, the newly elected President Franklin Roosevelt delivered his uplifting admonition of hope and recovery, perhaps most remembered for its reassurance to the American public that there was nothing more to fear in their own lives than “fear itself.”

Today, some 91-years later, “fear itself” may be transforming itself into the major simmering reality that we Americans, collectively, may have to face.  That fear being today’s internationally troubling, unsettled strife and bloodshed, involving Iran vs. Israel, Russia vs. Ukraine, and tomorrow potentially involving China vs. Taiwan and North Korea vs. who knows?

And, then beyond FDR’s nebulous, blue sky “fear itself,” there is the approaching actual domestic fear among all America-loving citizens of a Harris-Walz victory in November, followed by four more years of imposed progressive ultra-liberal-socialist administrative policies driving us, by force, even further beyond Mr. Obama’s wildest dreams toward his uber-socialist goal of even further “fundamentally transforming America” into something our Constitutional-Rule-of Law-Capitalism-based governing/economic system doesn’t need nor desire, and neither do America’s vast majority of nation-loving patriot citizens.

The hide-and-seek presidential candidate, Ms. Harris, has mistakenly now revealed a hint to her (and secondarily, our!) future, generalized policies intended for us to pre-maturely chew on, and choke. As well as intended to keep her month-long avoidance of actually talking to the media intact. The all-glitter, no substance candidacy of our no-positive, no constructive achievements of our current VP, and illusory candidate of imaginary joy, who hopes naïve voters will allow her to drop the V and go for just a P.  An intellectually deficient women, described by some as an “empty suit” who, among other convoluted statements reportedly actually told a high school football team, in person, that “You will be undefeated, even if you don’t win every game.”  Try that invented Kamala-ism out in the real world.  Her so-called verbal “word salads” are why her handlers are doing the Biden basement drill, keeping her hidden and away as much as possible from any and all non-telepromptered speaking if media are present.  Without mincing words, this heir-to-the-throne, from all initial progressive-ultra-liberal-socialist indications, could well bring an end to our personal-freedom-loving, and equality (not equity)-based, America.

Like the head of her ticket, Democrat VP-contender Tim Walz’s past policies, when governor of Minnesota, seem to echo the present announced governing intentions of Ms. Harris. During the 2020 Minneapolis (racially motivated) riots, then-governor Walz reportedly let the downtown of Minnesota’s capital city burn for three nights before calling in the Minn. National Guard, resulting in millions of dollars in damages, huge losses for businesses, and the actual mob destruction of a police precinct. One would have to conclude that the governor may well have, emotionally, taken the side of the rioters by the extended delay in calling National Guard troops.

Another questionable aspect of Mr. Walz’s background is his perceived closeness with China. He actually taught school for Americans there for a brief time. And he and his wife honeymooned in China. It is thought, by assumption, that he may well retain contact with influential persons there. Finally in the news, following his selection as Democrat VP candidate, Army veteran Walz has been identified as a “stolen valor” NCO, by continuing to be referred to as a Command Sergeant Major, when in fact he did not complete the required CSM schooling, retiring then as a Master Sergeant.  And he reportedly chose to retire from the Minn. National Guard once learning that his unit would be deploying to Iraq, leaving the unit at that time without senior enlisted leadership.

Ms. Harris and Mr. Walz appear to be singing from the same sheet of music, (i.e., staunch leftist), when it comes to future governing policy. More on some of the initially proposed policies of these two which, so far, don’t seem to be anywhere near the Constitutional/Capitalist framework under which we’ve lived and functioned successfully for the past 237 years! If it seems useful, more specifics on Ms. Harris’ policy proposals as she makes them known.  Meantime, you well know what’s at stake in this upcoming election, and the choice could not be any more clear:  Constitutional/Capitalism and Personal Freedom/Governed by the Voice/Vote of the People vs. Extreme Leftist (Socialist) Measures Destined to Significantly Limit Personal Freedoms via a Larger, More Dominant and Controlling Central Government.

FDR’s speech in front of the combined Houses of Congress, on December 8, 1941, the day following the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, entering America into a prolonged, dual nations/continents war, would empathize the very real “fear” our nation, and the world, then faced from evil forces seeking global domination.  For now, then, no further rationale is needed.

For obvious reasons, be sure to support and Vote For Trump-Vance!
