Our Nation And Freedom’s Future Are Under Domestic Attack
For starters, all this ridiculous talk, and pressure, to defund or actually abolish local police departments has had at least one result, and it wasn’t more equality and safer neighborhoods! Under political pressure, the NYC police department, for instance, has disbanded its 600-person plainclothes anti-crime unit. The impact was almost immediate. Shootings in the city immediately grew to 38 victims over several days, when a normal week produced, on average, “only” 12 shootings. Said one law enforcement official: “This is what the politicians wanted…no bail, nobody in Rikers (NYC prison), and cops not arresting anyone. All those things equal people walking around on the street with guns, shooting each other.”
In addition to New York City, violence erupted in Minneapolis, Seattle, Chicago and Charlotte, resulting in a total of 39 shooting deaths among those five major cities over the week. In Chicago alone, 50 people were shot, with 9 killed, including a 3-year-old boy, just over last week-end. Shameful how this carnage continues, especially in Chicago, week after week, and no one is protesting, no reported uproar from BLM, in essence, no one seems to be concerned (or if so, its not making the national news, like the reporting on everything the non-peaceful protesters have done, hour by hour, for the past several weeks.
And speaking of the protesters who don’t seem to have a reason to go home (and the question becomes who’s suppling them with money to exist?), with the zest for vandalizing, burning, and looting hopefully now over, the vandalizing continues, moving now to destroying statues around the nation, that these history-illiterates have deemed to be somehow interfering with the push for equality, if in fact, that is what this city-by-city mayhem is really all about. Given the fact that anger over the death of George Floyd has long since ceased being the driving force behind tearing things up. And by the way, why was it that the vandals were free to destroy and deface statues and monuments with no interference? Are there really that many mayors and governors who decided to lay back while the destruction was going on around them, assuming the radicals would wear themselves out and give up the cause? Kind of like recess for third graders, hoping the running around will release that up-to-no-good energy outside, rather than in the classroom.
Anyway, this destroying statues thing finally hit a national nerve when a NYC racial activist wrote that any statues showing Christ to be light-skinned “are a form of white supremacy. Tear them down!” Oh, but there’s more: “All murals and stained-glass windows of white Jesus, and his European mother, and their white friends should also come down.” It’s one thing to pull down a statue of our National Anthem creator, Frances Scott Key, a lunatic act in itself, but when you start demeaning Jesus, you’ve finally opened up a can of pro-religion whop-ass. Woe be to him, should he exchange any further insulting words for any kind of action aimed at desecrating or destroying statues of the Lord, in and around churches. What a totally ridiculous thing to say to a nation that, fortunately for all of us, remains majority spiritual. And at a time when, due to the mayhem and destruction, that majority, perhaps growing, is no doubt praying with increased humility and frequency.
On the subject of out-of-control vandals, with not nearly enough arrests, a writer for the Federalist (on-line) has forced us to look in the mirror: “A society that believes in itself builds monuments, a sick society does not, and a dying society watches as they are torn down. Without a committed and targeted crackdown on this disorder and its leaders, the committed and targeted killings of their opponents will come next.” That old saying: First they came for X. I didn’t object. Then they came for me. It’s absolutely beyond belief that local and state leaders haven’t tried to interfere in any way with the unrestricted destruction of monuments of historic figures (regardless of their 18th and 19th century sins). Why haven’t these street rogues been challenged and stopped, once the peaceful behavior disappeared? You can begin to see the warnings from the writer above coming to life; becoming true, and by then, it may well be too late to reverse the rampant lawlessness we all witness by the day, with no real effort to get it stopped. Shame on our leftist state & local leaders for not taking the steps readily at their disposal to end this dangerous rampage.
Some thoughts on what seem to be going on, that the perpetrators would prefer we didn’t realize or understand. Tammy Bruce relates current large-crowd street behavior to Marxism. And you should know that some respected conservative thinkers feel that these radical organizations have taken us well past just socialism, and now all the way to Marxism (even Stalinism)! And that’s especially likely to happen if President Trump is not re-elected in November. Should that happen, we will have effectively and, likely, permanently lost our nation. Wrote Ms. Bruce: “The people controlling the narrative at this point are determined to cast everything in America’s history as bad. The Marxist dynamic is about erasing our past in its entirety.”
Echoing the negative realism of the determined anti-America street movement, which for unknown reasons has yet to be stopped by authorities, Fox News contributor Katies Pavlich states: “The argument has been made that this was about racial equality, but this has been hijacked and gone far beyond that, and has turned into an anti-American mob that is insistent on erasing parts of American history that are good.” She then quoted Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson, who speaks along the same line of thought: ‘It’s a political movement that is very well-funded and organized, and has goals of not just equality and moving forward as a country, but rather tearing down our country from the inside out.” Bottom line: The true objective of the anarchist groups (the collective pro-Marx organizations, if you will) is about literally destroying America. Removing the Constitution, democracy, individual freedom, property ownership, and, of course, capitalism, the finest, most productive economic system in human history.
And why were these anarchists and their leftist Democrat soul-mates able to “take over” the country? Tucker Carlson provides his thoughts: “It’s simple. Nobody stopped them. There was no opposition to their power grab. The other side surrendered on Day One without a fight. Millions of people regularly vote for the Republican Party precisely because they would like someone to protect this country from the crazed ideologues who seek to destroy it.” And his stark conclusion: “You vote for Republicans to protect you from this. But when the moment of crisis came, Republicans ran away.”
Former federal prosecutor and U.S. Congressman, Trey Gowdy weighed in on the current situation in the streets and with the destruction of statues: “When you cultivate or tolerate an environment of lawlessness, that’s what you get. You’re going to get arson and looting and the defacing of public property. I’m a big law enforcement person. Law is the most unifying, equalizing force we have in our culture, and once you begin to ignore certain laws, good luck when it’s your turn to want one enforced.”
The current wave of statue removal, hopefully now or soon over, wrote distinguished historical and author, Victor Davis Hanson, “is about humiliation and power.” No question, white Americans have been challenged and stigmatized for their skin tone. In effect, humiliated for being white, which none of our tribe had any control over. I don’t remember a clip board hanging in the birth canal where we were to check which race we desired to be upon exit. White is not purposeful. It just happens. And no one needs a 10th grade hygiene class to explain why. But while America’s whites are being encouraged to feel lesser about themselves, the radical vandals and statue destroyers have, indeed, assumed power in the public spotlight that they’ve rarely had, and certainly not to this nation-wide degree. Power delivered to them by public officials who chose to sit on their hands, rather than exerting their traditional power to uphold the law, leaving the vandals to do and smash whatever they deem unacceptable to them. And, again, by the way, who is funding these hoards of mostly young radicals intent on destroying, not only a whole lot of statues, but ultimately, through total brainwashed ignorance, our nation as well ?
So with those bright lights in mind, here’s one for those current non-peaceful street kids and their leaders:
