Justice Be Done
With the passing of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, there is now an open seat on the Supreme Court, as everyone across the land knows. It is the President’s role and duty, as prescribed by the Constitution, to nominate a qualified person to replace her. Given the chaotic state of affairs in America at present, to include the predicted upheaval associated with the fast-approaching presidential election, it is imperative, for conservatives, that a new Justice be named to the Court before that election. Why the urgency? Because 4-to-4 decisions could very well add national paralysis to the already existing chaos, when the Progressives resort, as they will, to likely massive ballot fraud attempts by means of left-wing-dictated mail-in voting, the challenges from which will almost inevitably land in the doorway of the United States Supreme Court. The nation is split regarding the question of whether to fill that seat now (83% of Republicans) or wait until after the election (84% of Democrats), with the Progressive-Media team (who have swallowed the Democrats whole) hoping that the new president will then be their guy & gal! For them, there is no acceptable alternative, with nation-wide violence at the ready, from America’s new Protester Party of Peace.
Well, in actuality, it is now, as it has been for months, the Party of Threats. Threats of all kinds of mayhem and, yes, violence and more arson, if President Trump dares to perform his Constitutionally-mandated duty before the election, which is exactly what he plans to do. And as it looks now, with the hoped-for Senate approval of his nominee, the threats, indignation, and intimidation from the Party of Anger & Hate, grow even more extreme. Like spoiled children, from a CNN anchor to Hollywood and beyond, cries of “Burn It Down” if the peace-lovers don’t get their anointed way. “If you can’t shut it down, burn it down,” wrote, of all people, an immature member of the Wisconsin Ethics Commission (wild guess: a Progressive?). “Burn Congress down before letting Trump try to appoint anyone to SCOTUS,” wrote an associate professor at a Canadian university. So then, are the Progressives going to have Canadians mailing in November ballots, along with the illegals in California? Be on the look-out for those Maple Leaf post-marks!
Said Ms. Ocasio-Cortez, ever the pro-America voice of reason: “Let this moment radicalize you. I need you to be ready. We can and must fight.” No indication if she means in the Senate or in the streets…again. And then Ms. Pelosi, and others amidst the rabid cluster, hinted at yet another impeachment where, apparently, the President’s “High Crimes & Misdemeanors” (Constitutional requirement) would be moving forward as the Constitution dictates and otherwise acting like a President. For shame. Said Mrs. P: “We have our options. We have arrows in our quiver that I’m not about to discuss right now.” Notice how the Party of the People’s Congressional first-lady chooses to use the ever-peaceful expression “arrows in our quiver,” which in addition to alluding to possible violent acts (“arrows”), also ‘appropriates the culture’ of Native Americans and their sole historic use of arrows and quivers. But then, Mrs. P is above all of that. Appropriating culture is only a crime for the little people.
But in a subsequent interview, she did opening use the “I” word: “We can impeach him every day of the week for anything he does. In fact, for 200,000 people dying.” She has the demented nerve to accuse the President of killing all who have perished from COVID-19, which is the height of absurdity, hypocrisy, and slander. That is an absolute falsehood and earns her a second richly deserved ‘for shame.’ No one in her party did one thing constructive at the start of, or during, the deadly epidemic, except to now claim, well after the fact, that they could have done a better job and saved more lives. Unproven and unbelieved. And so, to that, we appropriate still more culture and say: bravo sierra!
Not to be left alone at the trading post, Senator Schumer joined the pro-political-mayhem chorus when he proclaimed that “nothing is off the table,” meaning there would be no limit to the hoaxes and procedural stunts the Progressives yet had up their sleeves (culturally appropriating magicians). The Great One, Mark Levin, responded: “What the President is doing is traditional and constitutional. Does the Constitution give the Senate, let alone one senator, the power to ‘put everything on the table’? Schumer’s statements, Levine said, “are the words of a fascist, of a Brownshirt, of a totalitarian.” Thank heavens Mark Levin is so solidly on our side, the side of America, the side of freedom.
Among the continuing flow of Progressive threats, should the Republicans have the audacity to follow the Constitution’s provision, is that of “packing the Court” with additional left-wing justices, assuming they win both the White House and the Senate (i.e., ultimate nightmare). The best response to this Progressive ‘we dare you” challenge came from the Senate Republican’s quip master, Senator John Kennedy (R-La) who said: “The Democrats think justices are just politicians in robes. I want to make it clear; we’re moving forward. And anyone who thinks Senator Schumer would not do the same thing if the shoe were on the other foot probably also believes Jimmy Hoffa died of natural (causes).”
Well, its’ been two full paragraphs since we’ve mentioned Mrs. Pelosi and she’s nowhere near done decrying the stated intent of the Republican Senate to move forward, now, with the approval of a Trump nominee. Proclaimed she, with hysterics, reaching deep into her defensive quiver: “They’re coming after your children!!” She refers to her concern for the vulnerability of the Affordable Care Act, the Obama creation, for which you’ll recall she famously stated that “we need to vote on it to see what’s in it.” That Act contains provisions for keeping “children” on parental policies until age 26, and for the needs of kids with pre-existing conditions. The Progressive fear is that with a solid conservative Court, the Affordable Care Act might ultimately be challenged. Ignoring the reality that the Republicans in power could not afford to scuttle provisions making children more vulnerable. That would be political suicide.
And this, at last, the final reference to Mrs. P. Should she seriously decide to bring up a second frivolous effort to impeach the President, in hopes of stalling the move to approve a S.C. RBG replacement, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) has offered a threat of his own: to introduce a motion to remove Mrs. P. from her Speaker position! Said Representative McCarthy: “I will make you this one promise, listening to the speaker on TV this weekend, if she tries to move for an impeachment based upon the president following the Constitution, I think there will be a move on the floor to no longer have … her being Speaker. She may think she has a quiver – we do too!”
To conclude, note the poignant thoughts on the appointment of a new Justice now, and closely related subjects, from noted author and Islam scholar, Robert Spencer: “The Left is holding a gun to the head of America. If Trump appoints a Supreme Court Justice, there will be riots. If Trump wins a second term, there will be even more riots. This makes it obvious that the American Left has completely abandoned the American political process that has made for stable government for over two hundred years, and has adopted the modus operandi of its ally, the jihadists: threaten and kill until the other side is so thoroughly frightened and intimidated that it gives you what you want.”
Not a pleasant thought, but its exactly what we see going on with the Progressive’s militant arm, with the leadership of BLM/Antifa radicals, and a brain-washed generation (or two) of apparent college-age white kid robots! We’ll just beat on you unlawfully until we get what we want, which is complete power and control over the once free nation, that the now-dominated-by-evil, intimated citizens formally called America. There should no longer, now, be any question among all loyal, domestic peace-seeking citizens of the importance of voting in the November election, voting masked in-person, and voting for every Republican candidate on the ballot, especially the name at the top of that ballot…President Trump. Our future and our very freedoms depend totally on a second term for this great, dynamic, blessed, America-loving-and-totally-supporting leader.
