Independence Day 2020

This year, we celebrate our blessed independence and precious freedoms, but this time, it’s amidst the determined efforts of a rogue and destructive Marxist element, comparatively minimal in number for now, determined to transform our great nation, from freedom to tyranny, and from capitalism to total government control over all once-private property, and all goods and services produced.  In sum, from democracy to totalitarianism. The very system that has ruined many a deluded nation, and in the process, all too often, has resulted in destructive wars and devastating loss of life.

It is our fervent hope that the determination and goodness of a free people, and the restraint of a government by, and for, America’s citizens, will continue to prevail, just as we have, through the sacrifices of so many, since the Declaration (1776) and our brilliantly-crafted Constitution (1787).  We owe so very much to the courage and wisdom of our magnificent Founding Fathers, who put it all on the line to forge a new free and independent nation.  A nation that, through the centuries, has become the envy of countless others, and the greatest ever created in the history of the world.  May Almighty God continue to grant these United States the treasured freedom, governance, and independence that our courageous Founders envisioned.  Independence Day 2020.  Please enjoy and remember.
