Conducting the dual ceremony was recently-appointed Third Infantry Division Commander, MG Charles Costanza.  MG Cottereau served this past year with the Third ID as a part of an on-going senior officer exchange program with the French Army.  Highly-regarded by all those he served with here, he returns home to France this weekend to take command of a French Army division.

COL Adams has served with the Third ID in a number of positions, for a cumulative total of eleven years, most recently as the Division’s Chief of Staff, under former Commanding General Antonio Aguto.  COL Adams will continue that assignment, working now with newly-promoted LTG Aguto as his Chief of Staff for First Army at the Rock Island Arsenal in Northern Illinois.
