Cranial Malfunction
Last Saturday (2-16-19), former Vice-President and permanent politician, Joe Biden, spoke to a NATO Security Conference in Munich. And he used the occasion to take false, purely politically-driven shots at the United States and our President. You remember, the same country that made him whatever he assumes he is today (mirrors can cause ego-inflation).
He spoke of America being an “embarrassment” to the rest of the world, and as such, a nation no longer as committed as it should be to our allies throughout Europe. Said Mr. Biden: “Leadership in the absence of people who are with you, is not leadership.” A thinly veiled false claim that President Trump does not have the support of the American people. Do recall he won the election. And to the best of anyone’s knowledge, that took support, and a whole lot of it.
Sadly, head-strong…sorry, head-soft…Mr. Biden wasn’t through trashing America and especially our President. As he continued: “Because of, I think, a lack of leadership coming from the other side of the Atlantic, we find ourselves in a different place, and it’s uncomfortable.” Strange for him to feel compelled to make a campaign speech in Germany, where registered U.S. voters tend to be on the slim side.
No, sir, as a most-certain 2020 Democrat candidate for United States President, the most powerful and influential position in the world, your feeling of ‘discomfort’ about America’s status and positon within the world community is incorrect, regrettable, and purely politically self-serving. We’re doing just fine, thank you, under the firm leadership of a President who is one of the most positively impactful in recent years, and perhaps in many years beyond.
Speaking against your country overseas, clearly show-boating for the lib-loving U.S. media, is a reminder of your previous White House buddy whose first speech overseas was also negative in tone about America, aiming at letting the rest of the world know that America has been ‘arrogant’ and is really no better than any other country. Down-grading America, from overseas, the country that had literally given him everything in his life, for which he seemed to reflect a lack of gratitude.
Mr. Biden spoke of America today as an “embarrassment.” For questioning the character and commitment of our country, and, by innuendo, denigrating the exceptional leadership caliber and achievement of President Trump, while overseas, for all the world to hear, in actuality, it is he who is the embarrassment.
