Bonkers, Blather, Blunders and Buffoons #35
There’s no better way to begin this edition of 4B’s than with this oval office stunt from this past Sunday. As you know, Sunday, March 31st, represented the holiest day of the year among those of the Christian faith, that is the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Apparently not in the eyes of the White House. As most if you probably already know, rather than acknowledging the deep-rooted spirituality of that very special day, Mr. Biden chose, instead, to forget about all of that significance and, instead, pronounced the day as “Transgender Day of Visibility.” Disparaging this unique annual Christian day by virtually overlooking it, in favor of a salute to our transgender citizens. Almost any other day, fine. But not this one! The one that blatantly disregarded the fundamental spiritual beliefs of America’s Christians. Mega toe stub, hopefully to be well remembered through the months ahead. By the way, Wikipedia’s latest available estimate indicates that 63% of Americans identify as Christians (210-million citizens).
Ans speaking of absurd, Congress just passed a $1.2-trillion spending package which pleased Mr. Biden a great deal. The spending bill was over 1,000 pages in length. We’ll only know how much is in there for more climate change expenditures and more green stuff when someone on our side actually has time to read it. The president called the package “good news for the American people.” Like the so-called (mis-named) Inflation Reduction Act before it (e.g., reportedly $369-billion of green handouts), it’s only good news if we’re fond of blue sky, out of control spending. So that you are aware, the current annual interest payment on our federal debt alone reportedly actually exceeds our entire Defense Department budget.
And speaking of that spending package, you should know that $380-million of it will go to support “enhanced border security…wait for it…. in Egypt, Lebanon, Oman, Tunisia, and Jordan, the latter of which will receive roughly $150-million.” Meanwhile an estimated 10-million illegal migrants (not “newcomers,” illegal migrants), plus the unknown hundreds of thousands of ‘Got-Aways,’ are now secured in our nation, at a huge cost to U.S. and state taxpayers, with no genuine effort to shut off our border(s) and put a stop to this very illegal invasion.
One other intended international use of American tax dollars to mention. This latest spending package “furthers Biden’s goal to allocate a total of $11-billioin in taxpayer funds to support international climate initiatives, including a $500-million payment in 2025 to the United Nations’ Green Climate Fund. The Biden administration has made a major effort to reassert the U.S. as a leader in international climate diplomacy, even while countries like India and China are expanding their use of coal to produce power.” Yep, spend, handcuff and penalize Americans over questionable “climate” issues while two of the largest, most populace nations in the world continue expanding the use of coal for power. Internationally, that pretty well neutralizes environmental steps taken here designed to limit the options for America and Americans.
On the subject of our upcoming elections, the City Council in New York City is “begging” an appellate court there to allow 800,000 “foreign nationals” (mostly illegals) to vote in their municipal elections, as long as they have resided in the city for at least 30-days! In the one hand, you may think this is fair, since they live and perhaps work there. But it violates the law, which seems to matter little anymore. The big problem with this municipal vote only pan is what is to keep them from voting in our state and national elections, when vote fraud seems to be so much in favor in order to ever prevent Republicans from winning?? You may know this, but California now automatically registers everyone, citizen and illegal alike, to vote when they obtain a California driver’s license! In theory, it allows voting there in local elections only. Taken one step further, there is a move now in California to register illegals to vote when they have their taxes prepared at no charge by U.S. Treasury Department personnel at tax preparation centers there. Again, without stringent review of illegals attempting to vote in state or national elections, in Democrat-run states especially, who will be seriously controlling those who vote? You know the answer. This is a huge concern, with millions of voting age persons already here illegally. Our future, our freedom, and our very sovereignty are all on the line in November with this concern alone.
And while we’re onboard the S.S. Lunacy, Senator Bernie Sanders (D-VT), allegedly a self-described socialist, has introduced a bill that “would reduce the standard work week from 40 hours to 32 hours over four years,” with no reduction in pay. Said Sanders: “The financial gains from the major advancements in artificial intelligence, automation, and new technology must benefit the working class, not just corporate CEOs and wealthy stockholders on Wall Street. It’s time to reduce the stress level in our country and allow Americans to enjoy a better quality of life. It is time for a 32-hour workweek with no loss in pay.” His plan would also adjust hours needed for overtime pay. While this feels a bit like nirvana, it also sounds like a dreamland woke-week, straight from the young person’s wish book. Think of the negative impact on small businesses. Huge corporations might be able to make it work, emphasis on work, but it simply may not be at all feasible for smaller companies and retail businesses. Interesting fantasyland idea, proposed by someone who reportedly has never held a private industry job (all government), so he’s never had the opportunity to see or prove that this could actually work with no loss in company revenue or productivity, both for the higher ups and, especially, for those on the production lines of America.
