Bonkers, Blather, Blunders & Buffoons #44 (2025)
In a regrettable toss-back to the equally regrettable Biden ‘America the Naughty’ administration, liberal Democrat Representative Ocasio-Cortez has proclaimed the following: “Did you know that ongoing exposure to NO2 from gas stoves is inked to reduced cognitive performance?” Translation: Long term use of gas stoves might possibly be a cause of brain damage! As also, by the way, is accidentally hitting your head really hard, by fall or hard object.
The previous administration’s effort to ban gas stoves (and gas everything else) in the interest of cleansing the supposedly smothering environment so that ‘climate change’ can preserve our nation, and the world, from certain destruction. What’s never mentioned in this implied climate change atmospheric purification nonsense is moving from natural gas to all-electric appliances (and EV charging stations) which requires, of course, electricity. And where does the vast majority of today’s electric power come from? Ah, no, not wind and solar, not even close, not now, not ever. Today’s electric power is made possible, of course, by natural gas, oil, and coal. Once again liberal pipe dreams = ‘sound and fury signifying (or improving) nothing.’
In his opinion piece yesterday, columnist Rex Huppke quoted President Trump from the campaign trail last August: “Starting on Day 1, we will end inflation and make America affordable again, to bring down the prices of all goods.” Huppke feels that Mr. Trump has failed to deliver on that promise. Well, as intended, the President has clearly “started” toward that goal. It’s common sense that it is not feasible to correct all previous administration wrongs literally on the first day in office. Mr. Huppke added to his criticism by writing that: “-this month (February) has done nothing to make your life better. But it has shown you, with great clarity, that Trump’s priorities have nothing to do with you, and everything to do with him.” Seems more than a tad harsh this early on. The President has been busy shutting down our previously wide-open borders, deporting criminal illegals to begin making our nation and communities safer, trying to root out from government departments and agencies previously wasted billions of taxpayer dollars, and trying to bring an end to the Ukrainian war of Russian aggression. Other than those little bitty efforts, he’s just kinda been sitting around. President Trump genuinely loves America and will continue to do all in his power to keep us safe, secure, and with ever increasing prosperity (and lowered egg prices!) for his fellow citizens.
The State of Washington’s Superintendent of Public Instruction, speaking to defend transgender athletes participating in girls/women’s sports, claimed that: “It is simply inaccurate to say, biologically, that there are only boys and there are only girls. There’s a continuum. There are children who are born intersex. Our state laws make it clear that children get to identify and participate based on the gender in which they identify. We’re going to uphold that law.” Here we go again, amidst the liberal-thinking breed, that society should recognize sexual preference by how one identifies, rather than by actual established biological reality. Federal regulation now mandates that there are only two recognized actually sexes: male & female, period. Regardless of the State of Washington’s personal identity and “preference,” it’s position will quite likely soon be the focus of federal action on long existing biological fact.
When asked during a recent NBC ‘Meet the Press’ interview whether he supported the President’s deportation plan, Arizona Democrat Senator Mark Kelly responded: “I don’t. For a number of reasons. It seems to be more about intimidation of a big population of people. It’s going down the road of mass deportation, which he said he would do, which would rip communities apart. It’s all about scaring and intimidating people. These are really bad ideas.” Spoken, of course, from the liberal ‘welcome all’ point of view. For four long years, the Biden administration politically welcomed millions of illegal migrants to overwhelm, especially, our open southern border, in violation of our long-standing federal immigration laws. Those millions of illegals are costing American taxpayers literally billions of dollars each year in comprehensive support expenses. With our crushing national debt, among numerous other reasons and ‘causes,’ we can no longer afford this massive expense. It is in the nation’s best interest to deport as many illegal invaders as feasible, criminal and non, for the economic and societal benefit of our still-sovereign country. Meanwhile, legal immigration should, of course, continue as prescribed by federal law and national need.
Earlier in the month, within mere weeks of the new President’s inauguration, Texas Democrat Representative Al Green reportedly introduced into the U.S. House formal impeachment articles against President Trump for “dastardly deeds proposed, and dastardly deeds done.” This action was presumably in response to the President’s recent thoughts on a more peaceful future for the Gaza territory in relation to Middle East anti-terror stability. So, here we go again with this impeachment nonsense. As with the prior multiple impeachment threats, this one will go nowhere. And as with the others, it’s all about ultra-liberal politicization of the process. Initially, such destructive political efforts (court charges) during the campaign were intended to de-rail the President’s chances of election. Now, this first “impeachment” effort is clearly one to inhibit his administrative attempts to ‘make right’ the nation and to hopefully make concrete efforts to a broader Middle East peace. As stated, this effort to end a presidency before it really begins is purely a wafer-thin liberal pipe dream, and as stated, will go nowhere.
With no real purpose or direction as a party, this final 4B entry seems like an appropriate conclusion to this edition. Wisconsin’s Democrat Governor Tony Evers has introduced a totally unneeded semantic reference change within his state legislature budget recommendation. Within it, without seemingly legitimate reason, the Governor replaces the traditional word, “mother,” with the phrase “inseminated person.” Now, unless I missed something key in high school health science class, pretty sure the only person who can legitimately become inseminated, pregnant, and deliver a child is a “mother.” He even went to the point in his submission of using senseless alternatives to the commonly accepted terms “wife” and “husband.” This all just smacks of lib-political hokey-pokey word play. Is there an actual, sensible reason for such substitutions? No, of course not. Apparently, there is no better use of their free time, on the other side of the aisle, now that they have plenty of it.
